Dear friends and members,

I hope you and your families are well in these unprecedented and uncertain times.

Due to Government directives to minimise the spread of COVID-19, all planned events are being put on hold. We will assess the situation periodically and based on government guidance resume when things are under control.

This means that our borough’s first ever Faith & Community Awards scheduled to be held on 23rd April is postponed as of this moment. Please keep on nominating the good work of yourself or some one who you know deserves the recognition. Perhaps, this is a time when we need to recognise good work done in our communities more than ever.
It’s more important than ever that we support one another. Look out for the elderly and the most vulnerable. We are working with the local authority on how best to support our elderly and vulnerable and to support those experiencing loss; loss of jobs, loss of contact, loss of established ways of practicing their faiths or beliefs – and loss of loved ones. Kindness and compassion are paramount.

We will keep you updated on our response. In the meanwhile, please visit the following links for the latest and most accurate information on Covid 19 disease.

Please take care of yourself and your loved ones and stay safe.
